SLCA Youth Program
 The
SLCA Youth Program teaches children to nurture an awareness of the presence
of God within everyone. SLCA children are encouraged to think about God
through the spiritual practices of treatment, meditation, affirmation,
service and community, as well as through songs, art, stories, plays and
prayer.
Each Sunday children are introduced to a topic of the day through instruction,
discussion and hands-on activities. A Science of Mind curriculum provides
the basis for the topic of the day. Volunteer teachers and helpers staff
the SLCA Youth Program. All volunteers are carefully screened. Our children’s
safety is important to us!
Children are separated by age:
- Teen
Mature 12 year olds and up
- Children’s Program
4-7 years old and 8-12 years old
- Nursery
Infants through age 3
Limited nursery services are available.
SPECIAL NOTICE: The SLCA Youth Program is held only during the
11:30 a.m. service.
