Please join us in celebrating and congratulating our next Senior Minister, Rev. Jean Bell!
Rev. Jean has been a devoted member of SLCA since 2013, serving our community in many meaningful roles—including Practitioner and Bookkeeper—before earning her ministerial degree in 2022 and becoming ordained in 2025. She has most recently served as our Associate Minister, and we are proud to share that she will now step into this new role as our first Black woman Senior Minister.
Executive Director Shannon Prewitt shared:
“Rev. Jean is the perfect person at the perfect time to lead this community, and the 100% vote of confidence from our pledging members at our recent town hall confirmed just that. It has been an honor to serve with Rev. Jean over the past six years, and I look forward to her leadership and watching SLCA grow.”
